With one of your buildings selected

Key Action
Q / W / E Upgrade 1, 2, 3
A Pause/resume production
S Sync spawn
D Production enchantment (perk)
F Spawn flag
R / T Building ability 1, 2

The same letter can build or command a building: whatever is selected decides. With the shop open, the letters buy items instead. What each building command does is explained in upgrades.

Camera

  • Arrow keys or the screen edge scroll the view. WASD can scroll too if you turn it on in Options; W, A, S and D then stop being hotkeys and those actions stay on the mouse.
  • Comma and period rotate; the compass on the minimap resets the view.
  • The wheel zooms toward the cursor, the middle button drags, and clicking the minimap jumps there.
  • Ctrl+F5 to F8 saves the current view; F5 to F8 brings you back to it.
  • In single player, the ½x, 1x, 2x and 4x buttons change the game speed (½x helps you read the battle calmly; the AI stays the same). Online there's no pause or speed: Esc opens the menu while the match keeps running.
  • While watching AI matches or replays, C toggles the automatic camera.

Comfort and accessibility

The first time the game opens, a short screen sets the language, interface scale, text size, sound captions and team colors; you can bring it back from Options. Text size makes only the lettering of the HUD, tips and menus bigger, without changing the scale. Reduced motion follows your system setting by default (battle effects included), and you can force it on or off.

Mouse

Click a building or a troop to select it and see its panel. Click empty ground or right-click to move the worker. With one of your buildings selected, right-click the ground next to it to set its spawn flag. Right-click also cancels Rescue and item targeting.

Physical keys

Letters and digits follow the physical position of the key, not the letter printed on it, so the build grid sits in the same place on AZERTY and QWERTZ keyboards. Holding a key down doesn't repeat the action.

Controller and Steam Deck

The game plays fine on a controller. The left stick moves a cursor that gently pulls toward buildings, troops and build spots; A clicks, B cancels, and the D-pad moves focus to the build card, inventory and shop. X is Blink, Y the Rescue, View/Select opens the shop, L3 centers on the worker and RB jumps to your next building. Hold LB for more: LB+A queues builds, LB+X toggles Overdrive, LB+B jumps to the last alert and LB+D-pad sends emotes online. The right stick moves the camera, the triggers zoom, LB+right stick rotates, R3 resets the view and Start pauses. To change the buttons, go to Options → Controller → Buttons…

On the Steam Deck, touch works too: tap to click, drag one finger to move the camera, pinch to zoom, and hold to right-click.
