A Main Menu That Never Sits Still

Leave the main menu alone for a few seconds and it starts telling stories. Every fourteen seconds or so the background switches to a new vignette, in shuffled order: a clash in the lanes, a siege at the base, a march to war, wings over the field, a base rising and a night watch.

Each vignette rolls its own factions, arena, time of day and weather, with a discreet caption. The battle scenes are real: a short simulation runs behind the menu, quietly, with the same rules as a match.

Better info before the battle

On the Prepare for battle screen, hovering or focusing a troop portrait now shows the same card you see in a match: the troop in 3D, its stats, abilities and matchups. Click it to open the Bestiary on that entry, and Back returns to the setup with your rolled perks intact.
